GROH ALBUM 2
Groh spent roughly 200 hours on this song. It went through 7 versions, and started as an uptempo, major key jazz song.
His objective was to create a constantly evolving sonic landscape, that takes the listener on such a journey, that 4 minutes feels like a beautiful lifetime.
Gamut will be promoted to 30-50 carefully pre-selected blogs / youtube / amateur playlisters.
Each upcoming album song rests comfortably in pop genres and subgenres, while also having an alternate, more niche audience. Gamut’s niche, being a heavily produced song, is: producers. Gamut will be sent to production-based infopreneur instagrams.
Orchestra sample-based pop songs, with next level lyrics, and a live show to match.
Album songs are pop songs as emotionally dynamic as classical music.
Groh’s hope is to bring humanity back to pop music- to win hearts rather than numbers- to move the world, and to leave it a little more beautiful than he found it.
Groh has dubbed his new audio / visual universe “Neo-Classical Futurism”. He likens it to the 1700s being mashed with the 2300s, in a parallel universe.
Peiyang Zou is creating a series of outfits for the album, in a modernized classical style (capes, suits), with strange esoteric symbolism.
These outfits will be represented in album shots, video, and the live show.
All photos will be shot by Oscar de la Renta’s Devin Brett Warren. Photos will comprise sets built by Brett and Caleb Groh, featuring Caleb’s brightly colored classical busts / sculptures, and Peiyang’s outifts.
Singles and album will be visually promoted via brand partnerships and sponsored content, with more cutting-edge niche luxury / art / fashion brands.
